ON THE FLIP SIDE...
Today's world is constantly looking at things on the down side. Have you SEEN the news lately? It's incredibly depressing beyond belief. I hate the news these days.
I felt like there were a few select verses that really urged people to look on the flip side of tragedy, and to turn it into something good. It can be tough to look at things in a different light, but it's worth it in the end.
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.
1st Timothy 4:4-5
The sins of some are obvious, reaching the place of judgment ahead of them; the sins of others trail behind them. In the same way, good deeds are obvious, and even those that are not obvious cannot remain hidden forever.
1st Timothy 5:24-25
Receive things with thanks, even when you'd rather not be thankful. All things are good!

And even when it seems that sins are the things that stick out to society, remember that good deeds are remembered by God. All we've worked for, all the good we've done-- it won't be hidden for much longer. Neither will our sins, so get right with God!
Look on the flip side of life-- the one with a brighter future :)
Peace out.
