Philippians 1-4

PEACE
In case you haven't noticed, I've ended every post I've posted with some form of "peace" or "peace out" or "peace be with you." And I don't just say that to be like the peace-addicts these days that have the peace shirts, the peace folders, the jewelery-- don't get me wrong, it's a great thing to advertise-- peace.
But it's important to recognize that peace comes only from God. He is the God of peace, and we need to ask of Him when we need a little peace in our lives.
Because believe it or not, no matter how long we try and make peace ourselves-- the world is a busy, bustling place. We need to pray to the God of peace to grant us a little peace in our lives, because we all know we need some every now and then!
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Ask God to guard your heart today, and tomorrow, and forever.
Peace with you :)
