Revelation 7-11

THE ONE CERTAIN THING IN LIFE.

In life, only one thing is certain: death.

I know, you're probably applauding me sarcastically, like "very good, Carly! Thanks for sharing that with us! Now everyone is depressed. Great job."

And I know that sometimes, things are depressing. But there is a surprising, happy twist to today's devotion. Yes, we'll be talking about death and destruction, but that happy part is that we who have faith in Jesus will be saved by Him. We won't have to be scorched like dirt or drown by hurricanes... but through God's grace, we'll be saved.

So, take everything with a grain of salt... and understand that the things we'll talk about WILL be depressing, and it's our job to help as many people as we can, before the day of Judgement comes.

Right now, our lives are free. We can be saved... each and every person on the earth. But later, this won't be true! We have to take advantage of the freedom we now posses and get out and save others.

During those days people will seek death but will not find it; they will long to die, but death will elude them.

Revelation 9:6

We know that times will change when God comes again. Now, we long to have happy, long lives. But the Bible states that people will be so ashamed in the days to come, they'd rather die than experience God's wrath... however, they'll be unable to because it's too late.

We still have time, people! We are free to choose, and I suggest you do so before it's too late. Help others before it's too late. Anyone can be saved. Not just the great people, not just the dirty sinners. EVERYONE.

...The time has come for judging the dead,
and for rewarding your servants the prophets
and your people who revere your name,
both great and small...

Revelation 11:18

Both great and small. All people. Understand that this does NOT exclude you! Or me!

It's something certain and unfailing, that God will judge everyone. Just like the fact that everyone will one day pass away, everyone will be judged.

I don't want people to walk away from the computer being all depressed and sad. That's NOT the point of this devotion! Its purpose is to provide hope to everyone who has their faith in Jesus, because if you do, then you're covered.

If not, talk to me! Email me! Call me! Text me! I want to help, because that's what I feel God has called me to do!

Peace out.
