Day Twenty

Exodus 14-16

Ok guys! It's that guest writer from a few weeks ago you all loved! (Well i hope you loved :) ) So I'm back again and thankfully i have an easy story today that most everyone knows! Okay so lets get started!

Remember if you want to read this story in detail you can always read it to the side
<----------------------------- riiiiiiight there or at www.bible.com

Alright so after all of the plagues the Lord told Moses that he would harden the Pharaohs heart and he would search after them. God said he had planed this so he could do a great act to make all of the Egyptians would know that he is the Lord. So when Moses lead them away the Pharaoh sent about 600 troops (Egyptians) with him. When the Israelites saw them getting near they blamed Moses. They said it was his fault they would be killed and they should have stayed in Egypt. Moses just told them to trust in the Lord.

The Lord said to Moses he would make a pillar of cloud for them to follow during the day and a pillar of fire that stopped the Egyptians from approaching them. When they came upon the Red Sea the Lord told Moses to raise his staff and the waters parted! This was the that great act that God had planned to show everyone! So the Israelites walked down the middle of the Sea with the walls of Red Sea on each side. I personally tis this is awesome. I mean imagine! Fish and all of the Sea animals swimming along with you!

So the Pharaoh chases after them but the Lord twist their wheels and makes it hard to move. He waits until all of his people are out of the Sea then he closes the wall. Finally! The Israelites were free!

They cheered and jumped for joy! The celebrated the Lord and basically had a big party!

The end to these chapters are about the Israelites running about water and crying out. The Lord told Moses that if they praised him (God) then they would get what they needed for he was a healer.

I think the message here is to believe in the Lord and he will help us through life and live it the way he has it planed out for us! I think he puts those 'Pharaohs' in our lives so we can learn to deal with them the way God wants us to. Not by being mean or aggressive but the way he wants us to.
Remember!

Live life to the fullest and don't let the 'Pharaohs' bring you down from living your life for God!

That's all the time i have today! Thanks so much for reading! Have a amazing day! Go in Peace!!!
