TRUST IN WHAT YOU CAN'T SEE.

Life is tough sometimes. It can break us down to pieces, leaving us crying in a corner, or alone by yourself. We've all been there-- hit rock bottom. There seems like there is no hope. There isn't any love. There isn't any life.

And I don't want to start of today's devotion with a big downer, but sometimes life just stinks. You know what I mean, right?

Sometimes it seems as if we have no where to turn. Take Daniel in today's reading, for instance. He was thrown into a hole filled with lions, just because he prayed to God. If I were in Daniel's shoes-- I wouldn't want to carry on! I know I wouldn't be as hopeful as he was. Not even a LITTLE bit hopeful.

Yet, when everything was falling apart, he turned to the one thing that wasn't failing-- his faith in God. It's crazy amazing, to me. That someone could be SO distressed, and still be hopeful about his faith-- something he can't even see!

It's hard sometimes, to be faithful. You can't necessarily see Jesus, or hear His voice. But even so, when you feel as if you've hit rock-bottom, it's always there. Forever.

I know it's hard to be hopeful in times of sadness, and anger. It's hard to trust in something you can't see. But trust is what saved Daniel from the lions, and trust is what can save you, whenever and wherever you are.

Daniel 6:23

The king was overjoyed and gave orders to lift Daniel out of the den. And when Daniel was lifted from the den, no wound was found on him, because he had trusted in his God.

Even though to US, things just seem to be getting worse,we need to just TRUST, like Daniel, and know that God has a plan for us. God has a plan for everyone who is suffering. It's our job to follow Jesus in times of trouble, and set an example for others.

Please take this into consideration whenever times seem tougher than usual. God will be there, all you have to do is trust.

Peace out.
