DON'T BE QUICK TO JUDGE.

People often judge others too quickly. Not only do they look past their own flaws, but assume that they're much better than everyone else in the process.

What's up with that? Why have humans evolved into people that constantly have to be better than the next guy? God loves us all the same, the straight-A students and the murderers. He might be a little more pleased in someone, or happy with their decisions, but regardless, He is still a happy loving God.

Two verses stuck out from the rest for me that really help me try not to judge others:

I wish that all of you were as I am. But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.

1st Corinthians 7:7

Don't think you're better than anyone else! We're all sinners and we're all loved despite of the fact. Let others live their life without discriminating! Sure, people might be doing the wrong thing sometimes, but we should love them just the same. We mess up too, and God still loves us. Let us not forget that we sin, too, as depicted in this passage:

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1st Corinthians 6:9-11

I think it's trying to say that sinners are NOT worthy of heaven. But who are we to call other people "sinners," after we sin ourselves? We've been washed away by the grace of Jesus! And GUESS WHAT?

HIS GRACE IS FOR EVERYONE.

So stop persecuting others for doing the wrong thing. Instead, offer them the grace of Jesus that you've received. We all sin, and we all need Him.

Think on that.

Peace out.

I love these scriptures. It is hard to remember sometimes that God is the judge, and NOT us! Thanks for reminding me.
