JUMP ON IT!

In today's reading, two missionaries, Paul and Barnabas, were traveling the land to tell everyone abut Jesus and His mighty love for them. This was an extremely difficult and dangerous thing to do, because of all the Christian persecution and all the hatred towards Jesus. No one would want to talk about Him anyway, right?

WRONG. Yes, it is true that many Jews and Gentiles were hesitant toward Christians. However, in today's reading, we get to experience the hand of God as He prepares the way for a BUNCH of people to get to know Jesus!

Read this:

From Perga they went on to Pisidian Antioch. On the Sabbath they entered the synagogue and sat down. After the reading from the Law and the Prophets, the leaders of the synagogue sent word to them, saying, “Brothers, if you have a word of exhortation for the people, please speak.”

Standing up, Paul motioned with his hand and said: “Fellow Israelites and you Gentiles who worship God, listen to me..."

Acts 13:14-16

God gave the missionaries a chance to speak, and they went right to it! They were aware that this was THEIR time to tell others about Jesus, and they had no hesitation.

Are we taking advantage of these situations in our life? God promised us that He would be with us every step of every day. So clearly, it's no surprise that he will be there with us when we want to tells someone about Jesus.

The Holy Spirit can give us little nudges to go and talk to someone different, and we should jump on those situations!

Thank God for never leaving us, and giving us an eternal love that will bring hope to ANYONE. There are so many great aspects to our faith that there are too many to count.

So come on! Jump on the chance to spread the happiness before it's too late.

Peace out.

We all get opportunities to speak out about Jesus and our faith. Let's use them when we can.
