TALKING TO GOD.

Hopefully you've realized that the book of Isaiah is about God talking to Isaiah, and Him telling Isaiah what's going to happen, so we can prepare the way... and blah blah blah.

But I keep wondering: how come ISAIAH gets to talk to God, like in person? I've always thought that would be so cool, to be able to have a conversation with God. I know what you're thinking, "Come on, Carly! If you pray, you can have a conversation with God whenever you want!"

But don't you just wish you could sit on your couch and see God right next to you? Wouldn't that be AWESOME?

Sometimes, people see angels and God right before they pass away. I've always been fascinated by that, too.

I guess the whole point of this blog/rant/thing is to tell you guys how awesome it will be one day, where we can see God face to face. Not only Him, but we'll see loved ones, and it will be total bliss.

We have a lot to look forward to one day, but we need to make the best of this life down on earth. We need to tell others of what they could miss out on... just like I'm doing with you!

Tell others, pray about it... because one day, when we see God face to face, wouldn't that be cool for Him to pat us on the back and tell us how proud He is of us?

Boy, is this ever true. He washes his disciples feet. washing someones feet was usually done by the lowest ranking person in the room, it was a dirty job because everyone wore sandals on the dirt roads, plus everyone walked everywhere. When Jesus does this he knows that his time on earth is coming to an end and that he needs to teach his disciples another lesson: humility. We all need to take this lesson in, especially in the world we live in today, sometimes we think things are beneath us to do, maybe it's babysitting your little brother, moving the lawn, cleaning up the house, or something more. But we need to learn that we need to be willing to do God's work in the world, doing whatever it takes to get His message out there. To me, there are two things that get in the way of making good, clean decisions: Hate, and Love. Two passionate emotions, which BOTH can lead to rash decisions you're bound to regret later.
