WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?
Life is short. Many people have come to realize this, especially those who have had loved ones pass away. It's an extremely overwhelming thing to think about, religion, and faith, and the Bible, and for some, it's impossible to decide when to start.
But...... it all falls back on the fact that LIFE IS SHORT. You never know when one day will be your last, and that's why sometimes we need to make tough decisions that can change the way we look on things. Yeah, they might be important and life changing, but it's best to make them when you're able.
In today's tough world, it's really difficult to keep a positive outlook on things. People are dying, and others are losing everything they have.
And although all this depressing stuff SEEMS like it'd be a horrible time to dive into a religion, the exact opposite can be argued. The world is becoming so cruel and unbearable that it's so important now more than EVER to have someone to help you through it.
And by that "someone," I'm referring to Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite sermons from my Pastor, Peter, was the famous question "How do we know our God is real?"
The answer, you ask?
Anyone who puts their faith in Jesus and seeks Him wholeheartedly will no longer question. The answer will become clear once you have someone to change the way you look at this crazy thing called life.
From the outside, yes. Religion looks really weird and sketchy. But if you'd at least try and get your foot in the door, you'd instantly see how Jesus shapes your life for the better with every step we make, and every breath He allows us to take.
Please talk to me if you have any questions, because life IS short. We might not have a super long life, and you never know when your decision matters most.
And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.
Acts 22:16
Sorry to get so pushy and intense. But life is pretty intense, don't you agree? And we have to make sense of it somehow.
Peace out.
