GREATEST COMMANDMENTS OF ALL TIME.

I feel like there are a lot of aspects to Christianity. There are a lot of things we should and shouldn't do, so wouldn't it be cool if somewhere in the Bible, our top two priorities were all laid out for us?

Guess what. THEY ARE.

In today's reading, the Pharisees are always trying to find faults in Jesus. They keep asking him tricky questions, and it seems like one of these times, He's going to crack under pressure-- but He doesn't. He has a perfect answer for every single one of their brainteasers, and I wanted to share one with you:

The Greatest Commandment

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:

"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

Matthew 22:34-40

It's a simple devotion today. IT'S ALL ABOUT LOVE. Love your neighbors, and love your God. You don't have to go to church twice a week, or sacrifice anything, or pray a certain way, or ANYTHING ALONG THOSE LINES!

Just love. I think that speaks for itself. Peace.

It is pretty simple. When we do the two things, we want to do all the other commandments!
